What You’ll Be Doing
- Building Secure Systems: Collaborate with senior engineers to design and maintain secure APIs, services, and user interfaces that power Tetra’s custody platform, ensuring reliability and strength.
- Agile Development: Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and peer code reviews to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Writing Robust Code: Develop clean, tested code primarily in TypeScript, Python, or Go, tailored to the needs of specific platform components.
- Enhancing Observability: Improve system diagnostics and monitoring to gain deeper insights into platform performance and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with compliance and product teams to translate complex requirements into secure, user-friendly features that meet regulatory and business needs.
- Troubleshooting & Reliability: Diagnose and resolve production issues, contributing to the platform’s stability and uptime.
What We’re Looking For

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience is equally valued.
Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in fintech, security, or infrastructure-heavy environments.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Python, or Go.
- Comfort with RESTful APIs, service-oriented architectures, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and version control using Git.
- Ability to thrive in agile teams, balancing flexibility with focus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience in blockchain, crypto, or digital asset platforms.
- Knowledge of security best practices and regulatory compliance in fintech.
- Contributions to open-source projects or side projects showcasing initiative.
- Familiarity with Go (Golang) for backend services.
